Abstract

Good slaughter cannot be separated from the level of knowledge, attitudes and behavior of the slaughterhouse officers of the Chicken Slaughterhouse (CSH). The purpose of this study was to determine the level of halal knowledge, attitudes and behavior of slaughterhouse officers in Banda Aceh City and its surroundings in the process of slaughtering poultry. The research method used is descriptive quantitative research method where data collection is done with the help of a questionnaire. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. Analysis of the data used is the Spearman Correlation test with the level of halal knowledge and attitude as the independent variable (independent) and behavior as the dependent variable (dependent). The results showed that the level of knowledge of the respondents included in the sufficient category. While the attitudes and behavior are included in the good category. The Spearman Rank test, it was found that there was a significant relationship between the level of knowledge of halalness and behavior as well as between attitudes and behavior, but the correlation that occurred was quite significant so that it did not have a large influence between research variables.
